So yesterday I was lurking on deviantart, browsing the illustration section, admiring the colour works, feeling envious, and eventually I felt so stupid.

I didn't know how to effin paint.

Not on paper. No nothing. That's why all my previous works were strictly B/W hand render stuff since they were all freshly scanned in from my sketchpad.

Then deciding to get over my foolish self, I googled "coloring tutorial" hoping to find good links.


10 minutes afterwards I already found myself working on a sketch to paint.


Anyway I found this [link] . I swear to god I didn't know painting with Photoshop was THAT easy. After some probably 10 hours (yes I'm slow ) I finished my first attempt on digital painting. Finished product can be found under my deviation, otherwise, hit [link] to view.

Feeling accomplished? Hell yeah I am. I've not felt this good about myself in a long long time. I personally thank the tutorial maker (Kei) for his video.
